Natural Ways To Help With Fibroids

In today’s Fibroids and Pregnancy blog post I wanted to write a very quick article on some natural ways to help with Fibroids. Before I begin I do want to post a disclaimer and let everyone know I am not a medical doctor and the following does not count as medical advise.

I highly recommend that if you have Fibroids or think you Fibroids to visit your doctor. Now that I gave you that little disclaimer let’s get on with the article. In case you have no idea what Fibroids are here is a short recap.

What Impact Do Fibroids Have On Pregnancy?

In today’s Fibroids and Pregnancy post I wanted to discuss what impact fibroids have on pregnancy. When a woman is diagnosed as having fibroids, one of the first things she will often want to know is whether she’ll still be able to have children.

The good news is that in the vast majority of cases, the presence of fibroids should not interfere with your desire to get pregnant, carry your baby to full term, and give birth to a healthy child. Please keep this in mind as you read on. I’ve described below the main complications that can occur in relation to fibroids and pregnancy, but please remember that for most people, these complications simply don’t happen!

I hope everyone is enjoying and finding the information helpful here on Fibroids and Pregnancy HQ? If you want to know about something specific or have questions please post them in the comment area below.

Taking a break from the informational posts I’ve been doing recently, I thought I’d share with you a thought that often occurs to me. Have you ever wondered why so many gynecologists seem to be men? I’ve yet to meet a female gynecologist. I know they exist, and in recent years I believe more female gynecologists have qualified and I’d love to hear from you if you’ve met or even better, been treated by one of these rare creatures!

Fibroids and Pregnancy – How Do Fibroids Get Diagnosed?

Posted May 19th, 2011 in Fibroids and Pregnancy, How Do Fibroids Get Diagnosed by Sarah

Fibroids and Pregnancy may be the name of the site, but I also want this site to grow beyond that and provide more useful resources to it’s reader. So with all of that being said I wanted to talk about a subject which I have got a few e-mails about recently on how do fibroids get diagnosed? I hope you find this article as well as my personal experiences helpful.

In truth, they often don’t get diagnosed at all. Because so many people have fibroids but don’t experience any noticeable symptoms, there’s no need for a diagnosis. Even those with symptoms will often discover that they have fibroids when some other aspect of their health is being investigated.

Hey Everyone,

Welcome to the second post from Fibroids and Pregnancy HQ. I was hoping to include this information in the first article, but after doing some thinking I thought it could be better as it’s own article. I truly hope this article answers any questions you may have dealing with this subject.

So with moving on the big question is if you’ve got fibroids, how do you know?

The fact is, many women never even realize they’ve got fibroids, because they experience no symptoms at all. You can happily co-exist with your fibroids, and never have a problem. So if you somehow discover that you do have fibroids, don’t assume they’ll cause you problems.

What Are Fibroids?

You can, however, develop lots of fibroids on or within the womb (it’s not uncommon to have over a hundred fibroids of various sizes), or you may be like me and develop just one at a time. Fibroids are also known as uterine fibroids, uterine myomas and leiomyomas
